The competition is one of five international science olympiads held annually.
The 38th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2026) will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from 9-16 of August, 2026, as the most prestigious computer science competition for secondary school and high school students around the world.

The IOI 2026 is organised by the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Republic of Uzbekistan and Digital Education Development Center.
